The entire nation of Edernim is open for the party to explore, and they may even need to venture further. There will be a central map available for the player to choose where they would like to go next. Some cities are optional and hold side-quests, while others are merely for reference (in grey). Once you chose a city, you will go to the city's navigation screen where you can choose which building to visit. Cities must be activated before they show up on the map.

Major cities usually have a blacksmith which sells weapons and accessories for the party to buy. Weapons give a bonus to all attacks by its owner, so it's important to upgrade when you can. Each character can own only one weapon and one accessory, so when you buy a new weapon, the old one is immediately sold. Acessories are varied and may give bonuses such as extra AP or a special skill.
